Details:
This will be the seventh year of the Worldwide Photo Walk, organized by Scott Kelby. Last year, there were over 900 Photo Walks, with over 32,000 people participating. The purpose is to have fun, enjoying photography together. I’ve been on walks in Seoul, South Korea, Urbanna, VA and Williamsburg. This is my first year as a leader and I can’t wait!!!
There are lots of details on the registration page. And you can read all about the walks, here.
Did I mention prizes??? Yes! Each participant can upload one photo taken during the walk. A prize will be awarded for one of the photos taken on our walk! (A year of KelbyOne membership, a $249 Value!) That photo will then compete for the grand prize, which is awesome!!! You can see more details here.
Each person registering must create their own account at the time of registration. If you want to attend more than one walk, it’s possible to create a new account for each walk.
I’ve posted some photos I’ve shot along our route, on my website. There is so much to discover! If you like shooting flowers or food, there’s plenty of that. People? You’ll find them, from modern to colonial. And what about animals? With any luck, you’ll find dogs, horses, cows and even sheep. Even architecture abounds. So, join us as we enjoy Williamsburg at a photographer’s pace! And stay around for an early Dutch treat lunch at Blue Talon Bistro.
